With Mr. King's surgery quickly approaching (and the bill to follow), we have made the frugal decision to cook for ourselves this year. I am excited to see what we can come up with to still make the night special, and will be sure to post any great ideas for a wallet friendly night!
...I'm still daydreaming about those red shoes and the fabulous date I'll wear them to though :)
Valentine's Day is all about how you make it and who you're with. It doesn't always need all the frills! Hope you have a wonderful day ! :)
ReplyDeleteLindsey!! I just made my boyfriend his favorite food; chicken parmesan. I'm not the best cook. And I'm not the most patient. But his face when I served him made it all worth it. I hope you and Danny have an amazing night and Mr. is in my thoughts. I can't wait to hear about y'all's night. Hope the rain has subsided since yesterday. It's been real nice here in Austin today. Hoping it continues!
ReplyDeleteThat's so true. Sometimes spontaneous nights are way more fun than super planned "cliche" nights!
ReplyDeleteshrimp and pasta is always good. Shrimp cooked with fresh garlic and your favorite fresh herbs some white whine and a little bit of chicken broth. With some angel hair and some toasted bread with butter and rub some garlic over it.
